I am a Southern California native and have lived here all my life, except for a brief period in Israel and another brief period in Colorado. I love living in the West Hollywood area.

When I was a child, I had two goldfish and a sweet, playful, and beautiful Irish Setter. As an adult, I have had the pleasure of pet-parenting a very feisty and mischievous rabbit, two water frogs I inherited from class science projects, and five very lively and entertaining cats.

I graduated with my B.S. from California State University, Fullerton, and for the last twelve years have worked as an elementary school teacher. It's been fun but I'm ready for a career change and to work with furry (and feathered and scaly) children rather than the two-legged variety. I began pet sitting three years ago in the San Fernando Valley, and now I'm committed to building a full-time business here in the West Hollywood area.

In addition to my love for animals, I am also very human-friendly. I am a little bit of an activist as well. Some of my causes have been to participate in a 500-mile bike ride to raise money for AIDS research, walks for cancer research, working to prevent and now repeal Prop 8, and raise money for earthquake victims in Haiti. Currently (May 2010) I am bald because I donated my hair to an organization that makes mats out of hair and fur, in an effort to clean up the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
